![]() ![]() The 58 points are the most by any team in the final quarter this season. Saleh said the Jets will know more by the end of the week, but the team doesn’t think it’s severe.ĥ8 - The Jets have outscored opponents 58-20 in the fourth quarter, including the 21 points they scored Sunday against Miami. Rookie DE Jermaine Johnson is day to day with an ankle injury. But this squad has shown an ability to bounce back from adversity - something that has been a bit uncharacteristic of recent New York squads. It was a case of “here we go again,” and understandably so. It would've been easy for Jets fans to panic a few weeks ago when the Jets were drubbed by the Cincinnati Bengals 27-12 in Week 3 to drop them to 1-2. He also dragged a few defenders on some of his plays.ĭoom and gloom. All of that was on display Sunday when he set a Jets rookie record with 197 all-purpose yards - 100 yards receiving on two catches and 97 yards rushing and a TD on 18 attempts. The rookie second-rounder has been nicknamed “Beast” since his high school days for his combination of physical style and speed. That came after they allowed 113 at Pittsburgh. The Jets gave up 137 yards rushing against the Dolphins, including 113 by Raheem Mostert. While the pass rush is thriving, the run defense is struggling a bit. He and Lawson join Cleveland's Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney as the only teammates to each have at least five in the same game in the past two seasons. John Franklin-Myers had five quarterback hits. But they also were credited with 16 quarterback hits, with Lawson getting seven - the most in a game by a Jets player since 1970. The Jets had two sacks Sunday, including Carl Lawson's strip-sack of Skylar Thompson that helped seal the game. The pass rush is making its impact felt, even if the sack totals aren't eye-popping. It’s still only October optimism, but it’s a chance for the Jets to build upon success and keep it going the next few months. “When we get a chance in the fourth quarter, I mean, you just don't have any quit.” ![]() “We have a young group that doesn't flinch,” Saleh said. The Jets put an opponent away, and that was another sign of progress that might not have happened in recent seasons. The game Sunday was close - 19-17 - in the fourth quarter, until both the offense and defense took over and scored 21 unanswered points. The Jets' previous three-game winning streak, which they'll be trying to match in Green Bay on Sunday, was in 2019. But now comes the hard part: being consistent winners and regularly good. Their 11-year postseason drought is the longest active skid in the league.Įnding that this year is the expectation and focus. “So everything we do going forward, everything we did on Sunday, down there, four quarters, it’s about establishing who we are, who we want to be known for and what we want to do going forward.”įor quite a few years, all the Jets have been known for is losing. “You had no say, you had no input, you had no doing in what previous teams did and how they performed and all that,” defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins said. 500 since 2018 - when they won the season opener. It's also the first time the Jets are over. That was followed by the win over Miami that snapped New York's 12-game skid against division rivals. There was the 24-20 comeback victory at Pittsburgh, led by quarterback Zach Wilson in his season debut. And now it’s finally showing a little more.” And it’s been different since the day this whole staff got here. “These are all stones that were starting to turn. Being good in the fourth quarter, winning those close games, being in those moments that we know and love, and then pulling away from teams. "But we’re trying to turn these pages left and right. “We have a long way to go, let’s be very clear,” wide receiver Braxton Berrios said. ![]() ![]() But progress is breeding optimism - and that's not something anyone has been able to say around the team in quite a while. The G-force seemed to shot better and better the more it was shot. Here are the detailed specs on the shot gun itself. Forward Small Pic Rail with Olight Baldr S I just prefer a small light like the Olight. Someone could add a fore-grip if they wanted, but you would have to have some long arms to make that work. I feel like its the perfect size to not get in the way, and should light up the house well in the event the shot gun was needed for home protection. I have added an Olight Baldr S laser light combo to the front. Extra 5-round Ammo Storage in the Butt StockĪnother great feature of this shot gun is the forward small pic rail. However, for right handed shooters, you will love it. If you are left handed shooter, this could be an issue to look out for. I was first a bit offset when the shells wouldn’t push in all the way, but then I realized it was like that for a reason once I brought the firearm into ready position. The butt stock ammo storage is a nice feature that I really liked. The ergonomic grip feels fantastic and it really helps the shot gun feel well-balanced and secure when pulled into the shoulder. I love the tactical look and feel of the G-force. With the 4-shot pump 12 gauge, and an additional 5 slot storage in the butt stock, I felt like the G-force met all the details I wanted. This one in particular was exactly what I was looking for. Death is right out, though I run Survival instead of Hardcore because I like oxygen warnings. ![]() Not only am I building a seamoth, I’m upgrading it. I’m not interested in building the least amount required in fact building a nice base is kind of the entire point of what I’m doing. I’m not interested in doing it all in a single take, though currently my segments are around 15-20 minutes each. They use suicide as transportation, building an unpowered single-room habitat to enter and exit (and then deconstruct) right before suiciding so no gear is lost. They never even build a seamoth because that would just slow things down. Their second base has only a single solar panel, small locker, and fabricator, out by the tower gun that shoots down the Sunbeam.Īnd finally, everything in the run is all optimized for speed. They keep two fabricators running non-stop for minutes at a time. The first base has two each solar panels, large lockers, and fabricators. Speaking of their bases, they build two permanent bases, and both are a just a single I compartment. Taken all together it must have been brutally tedious. ![]() Starting location probably wasn’t the only factor that needed to come up just right. They do write about almost giving up but then getting finally getting a lucky spawn. Their LifePod just happens to be right next to where they build their first “base.” Zero chance that was coincidence. That’s clearly what they did for the record run above, I think. I also couldn’t stomach having to restart 15 times every try waiting for a good location. I could theoretically do it all in one take, but that’s more memorization and practice than I’m willing to commit to. My 60-minute run has five segments total, then I’m envisioning maybe three more segments for the extended version. The primary rule for a speed run is that it must be a single segment. I’m looking at this as like a play or movie. So then I get back from the Aurora, finish the base, sit down on my bench in front of my garden and open the PDA to start reading, The End. That would give me everything I need except the Plant Shelf. On the way home from the Aurora I’m thinking I swing by LifePod 12 to pick up Bulb Bush for my gardens as well as Water Filter and Alien Containment blueprints. The Aurora is on rails that could easily be a single 15-minute take from start to finish, not counting travel time. #WHERE ARE CYCLOPS ENGINE FRAGMENTS IN JELLY SHROOM CAVE PLUS#After watching the Aurora explode, I climb down, craft a radiation suit, then board my upgraded seamoth (depth mk 1 plus 3 storage lockers) and head straight out to repair the Aurora. So now I’m thinking 90 minutes instead of 60. But my base wouldn’t technically be complete yet. The idea was originally to end the scripted portion of my run sitting atop the LifePod watching the Aurora explode, after which I climb down the ladder, craft and equip a Radiation Suit, The End. The biggest challenge is starting to look like Copper, but I think that’s solvable. ![]() #WHERE ARE CYCLOPS ENGINE FRAGMENTS IN JELLY SHROOM CAVE UPGRADE#I’m not that far off from already having enough gold/silver/lead to build the modification station, vehicle upgrade bay, battery charger, laser cutter and propulsion cannon.
